For Junior Hockey we are developing 3 teams, U9s, U11s & U13s (all mixed gender), and are taking part in a series of tournaments across Cambridgeshire in the coming weeks. (The first one last weekend being won by Ely!)
The next tournament is at St. Ives on Sunday 14th starting at 1:00pm, for U9s and U11s. We shall be aiming to enter an U11 side as our few U9 are good enough to hold their own in the older age group.
Junior Hockey training sessions take place on Tuesday from 6.30 - 7.30 during the school terms. We get in total about 65 players and we have about 7 coaches helping. Ely City Hockey Club is currently involved in trying to recruit new players of all ages and ability.
